Tiger Talk

Spring break is over, and now we begin the last nine weeks of school.  It is surprisingly one of the most busy times of the school year as you can see by the list of events at the end of this page!!

Track for both high school and junior high, along with our golf team are attending events nearly every day this month.  Hopefully, the weather will become a little more cooperative for our spring athletes.  Our kids are excited and ready to pursue personal bests in their endeavors.  GO TIGERS!!

Mrs. Morris and her drama crew have been preparing for this year’s production of “Dead Men Don’t Need Dress Rehearsals” April 26-27.  I hope you can attend one of their performances and see our kids in all their theatrical talents!

The North Idaho Student Teacher Academic Recognition (NISTAR) banquet will be held at the Best Western Coeur d’Alene Inn on Monday, April 22.  Dinner will be served at 5:30 and the  ceremony will promptly begin at 6:00 PM   Mullan has selected Josh Houston and Zeke Hess as NISTAR students who will each select an educator who he or she feels has made the most outstanding contribution to their scholastic development. Students are selected based on both academics and activities, along with ranking in the top 10% of their class.  Congratulations to both Josh and Zeke!

Every year North Idaho College and the Region 1 high schools recognize the top 10% of juniors in each of the North Idaho high schools.  This year Mullan’s Top Scholar juniors are Laeylah Parish and Talan Rupp-Connors.  They will be recognized at an award ceremony at NIC’s Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, April 24.  We applaud their academic achievement!!

Looking forward:
